Tender Steps Foundation School

Tender Steps Foundation School is easy to find if you are driving on the Ambala Chandigarh Road. We are just opposite the Big Bazaar in Zirakpur. It’s a busy spot with lots of cars and people going to the shops, but inside the gate, things are a lot calmer. We started this place because there were so many families moving into the new apartments nearby. The rooms are filled with toys and drawings that the kids made themselves. We don't have a huge playground, but there is enough space for the little ones to run around and get some sun. Some days it gets quite loud when everyone is singing or playing, but that’s expected with small children. The staff here mostly lives in the local area, so we know the parents pretty well. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spills and putting books back on the shelves. The front door is usually open for parents to drop by and see what’s going on. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it’s a bit messy when a project is happening. It’s not a corporate office, just a place where children spend their morning hours while their parents are at work. We like the location because it’s convenient for everyone. Most people just call us the school near the mall. It’s a practical setup for the neighborhood and we like being part of the daily routine here.
