Parkash Thandi Foundation

Parkash Thandi Foundation is situated in Peermashela at Thandi Farm, right across from Tricity Plaza in Zirakpur-Mohali. The farm is a good place to be because it gives us a lot of room to breathe and think. We’ve been here for a long time, and the place has its own character. It isn't a polished office with air conditioning in every room. Some parts of the farm are a bit wild, and the buildings are old. We don’t have a big corporate board or a lot of rules about how things have to be done. It is more of a family operation where we all just do what is needed. Some days we are helping out a neighbor with their crops, and other days we are organizing something for the local community. It is a bit of a mixed bag, and things don’t always go according to a plan. We don’t have any marketing people on staff, so we just talk to folks like normal. Being near Tricity Plaza means it is easy for people to find us, even if they just want to stop by for a chat. The gate is usually open, and you can see us working on something or other. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of it here in Zirakpur. It’s a simple life and simple work, and we like it that way.
