Duaayen Welfare Foundation

We are over at Sco. No. 24 in Green Enclave, right on Lohgarh Road in Zirakpur. It is part of the Sas Nagar district in Mohali. Most people around here call us Duaayen Welfare Foundation. It is a busy area with a lot of traffic passing by, but we like being where the action is. The office is just a regular shop-cum-office space. We have got some desks and some files and usually a few people sitting around discussing what needs to be done next. We work on a variety of local welfare issues. It is not always organized perfectly but we get things done. Some days we are out on the road and other days we are just here answering the phone. Zirakpur has changed a lot lately and there is always something new to deal with. We do not have a massive budget or a marketing team. It is just us trying to help out where we can. Sometimes we get overwhelmed with the amount of work but we just keep going. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the people who live in Green Enclave. It feels like a community. If you are driving down Lohgarh Road, you will see our sign. We do not put on airs or pretend to be something we are not. We are just a small foundation trying to do some good for the people in this part of Mohali. It is hard work but we are glad to be doing it.
