The yard here at Burdwan Super Cement Pvt. Ltd stays busy from the early hours. We’re tucked away in Vill. & Post Sarpi, and most of the folks who live around here know us by now. It’s a quiet enough area until the trucks start rolling in at dawn. You can hear the engines rumbling before you even see them. Working in a place like Sarpi means you get to know the neighbors and the local rhythms of the village. We aren’t a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just dust, heavy lifting, and making sure the orders are ready when they need to be. Some days the heat is pretty tough, but we just keep at it. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. You wake up, check the stock, and start loading. The mail comes through the local post office right here in the village, and it feels like a small world. We don’t have a big team, just enough people to keep things moving. Sometimes the weather slows us down, especially when the rains hit Sarpi hard and the roads get messy, but mostly it’s just one day after another. We like the honesty of the work.
