Tushika Fashion

Tushika Fashion is over at Plot No. 3/18 in Saroor Nagar, right near the Raju Giroha Kalpa Building in Almash Guda. It’s a bit of a walk if you’re coming from the main road, but we like being in this part of town. The building is easy enough to spot once you get close. We spend our time here dealing with all sorts of fashion items, mostly focusing on what women in the area are looking for these days. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of fabric scraps or empty boxes because we are always getting new things in. We try to keep the place tidy, but when you’re busy showing clothes to four or five people at once, things tend to get a bit messy. The Raju Giroha landmark helps people find us when they get lost in the lanes of Saroor Nagar. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the stock well. We spend a lot of time talking to the local ladies about what patterns are in style or how a certain material will wash. It’s a very local vibe here. We don’t do much advertising; we just stay open and wait for people to drop in. Sometimes it’s quiet enough that we can sit and listen to the radio, but usually, there’s something that needs to be moved or sorted.
