Sridevi Reddy

Our place is House No 2-2 in Badangpet. It’s out towards the Kanchanbagh side of Hyderabad, in the R.R. District. The area has grown so much lately. It used to be much quieter, but now there are shops and houses popping up everywhere. I started this under my name, Sridevi Reddy, mostly working from a small room at the back of the house. It’s nothing fancy, just a plain space with a desk and some chairs. Hyderabad is a busy city, but out here it feels a bit more like a community. I know most of the people on my street. We don’t have a big corporate office or a lot of employees. It’s mostly just me and occasionally some help when things get really piled up. I spend a lot of time on the phone or working through paperwork. The commute into the main city is a nightmare, so I prefer staying here and getting things done locally. Sometimes the dust from the road construction gets into everything, which is a bit of a nuisance. I don't use any fancy management tools. I just write things down in a notebook and check them off as I go. It’s a very manual process, but it works for me. I’m not interested in being some huge company. I just want to provide for my family and keep things running smoothly. It’s a lot of work, but I enjoy the independence.
