Navjeevan Timber Mart

The shop is called Navjeevan Timber Mart. We are located right at 7/3/70 Bairamalguda, near the Sagar Ring Road in Saroornagar. If you live around here, you probably know the spot. There is always wood piled up and the smell of sawdust is pretty thick in the air. We spend most of the day moving planks around or cutting things to size for customers who walk in. It is heavy work and your clothes always end up covered in wood shavings by lunchtime. The traffic at the ring road can be a bit much sometimes, making it hard for the delivery trucks to back in. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working with wood for years. It is not a clean job, but there is something okay about working with your hands. The office is just a tiny corner with a wooden desk and some old chairs. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People usually just find us by driving past or through word of mouth. We keep a variety of timber in stock, whatever is usually in demand for local building work. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult when we are trying to load up a customer's vehicle. We just deal with it and get the job finished. It is a simple place, nothing too complicated. We just focus on the timber.
