A. K. Plastics

We run A. K. Plastics from our site at Sy No:215 in Jalpally, which falls under Saroor Nagar mandal. Dealing with plastics means there is always a specific smell in the air around the workshop, but we have gotten used to it over the years. It is a busy little spot and we are usually surrounded by stacks of materials or finished items waiting to be moved out. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a standard structure that fits our machines and some storage. We spend a lot of time checking the molds and making sure the cutters are sharp. It is repetitive work, but it needs to be done right. Jalpally is a growing area, so we see more trucks passing by every year. Our crew is small, mostly just people from the neighborhood who know the trade. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks up. We focus on the daily production and keeping things moving. Sometimes we run into delays with the raw material deliveries, but we just adjust the schedule and keep going. It is a very hands-on job and we often end the day with a bit of grime on our hands. That is just how the plastic business goes for a small shop like ours. It is not much more than that but it keeps us all fed.
