Apar Industries Ltd.

Apar Industries Ltd. is located over at 158-163 Gidc Estate. It is a large industrial area and we are right in the thick of it. The machines here are big and they make a lot of noise. You have to shout sometimes to be heard over the hum. The floor is stained with oil and there are metal parts everywhere. We work in shifts, so there is always someone coming or going. The Gidc Estate is full of buildings just like ours. It’s a lot of grey concrete and steel. We don't have much time for sitting around. Most of the day is spent checking gauges and moving heavy parts. The heat from the production line is something you just get used to after a while. We have a small break room where the tea is always too sweet. The trucks come in the morning to pick up what we’ve made. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but nobody has the time to do it. It’s a practical place. We don't have a lobby with plants or anything like that. Just a gate and a lot of work to do. When the whistle blows at the end of the day, everyone is ready to head home. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know. We just focus on the task and try to keep the machines from breaking down.
