Raj Travels And Enterprises

Our shop is number 16 on the ground floor of the Hotel Moti Mahal. It’s a very busy spot because we are right opposite the roadways bus stand. You can hear the conductors shouting destinations and the horns honking all day long. Because we are at Raj Travels and Enterprises, people are always rushing in at the last minute trying to figure out their plans. The ground floor location is good because people don’t have to climb stairs when they are carrying heavy bags. The office is small, just enough room for a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. We have maps on the wall that are a bit faded from the sun coming through the front door. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a large group comes in all at once, but we just handle them one by one. The hotel above us is quiet, but down here it is all about the travel energy. We drink a lot of chai from the stall next door while we work on bookings. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing down names and dates. Dealing with the bus stand traffic can be a headache sometimes, but it means we are always right in the middle of everything. We’ve been in this hotel building for years now and it is home.
