Swarnkosh India Microcare Foundation is located right in the middle of Tenduihathi Bazar. If you know the market, you know it is a busy place with people coming from all the nearby villages to trade and shop. We set up here because this is the heart of the community. We noticed that small shopkeepers and local workers often struggle to get even a little bit of help when they have an emergency. We aren't a big bank or some huge government office. We are just local people who understand how hard it is to make a living in a place like this. Our setup is pretty simple. We spend our days talking to the people who walk through the bazaar. We try to offer support that makes sense for their actual lives, not some plan made by people in a distant city. It is often loud and dusty in the office because of the market outside, but that’s fine with us. We’d rather be where the people are. We don't use complicated words or have long meetings. We just listen to what someone needs and try to figure out a practical way to help them out. It’s messy work sometimes, and we don’t always get it right on the first try. But we are here every day, part of the market, trying to look out for the small folks who keep this place running and the families who depend on them every day.
