Sital Gramin Nidhi Limited

We are located in Uma Nagar, over in the Sahebgaj area near the Muffasil police station in Chapra. It’s a typical neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else’s business. Our office is a modest space that fits right into the local surroundings. We don't have any neon signs or big billboards. Most people find us just by knowing we are here or by asking someone on the corner. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our ledgers. We spend a lot of time double-checking figures and making sure every entry is correct. It’s a bit of a quiet life, which suits us just fine. The office has a few old wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. During the rainy season, we have to keep the door shut to keep the damp out, but otherwise, we like to let the fresh air circulate. We see a lot of people from the gramin areas who come into town for the day. They stop by to settle their affairs and maybe share a bit of news from their village. It’s a very human way of doing things, without all the coldness of a big bank. We keep our workspace simple and functional, focusing on the tasks at hand and making sure our neighbors are looked after properly. By the time we lock up for the day, the sun is usually setting over the main road.
