Shubh-Karm Seva Foundation is located in the village of Sihoria, which is part of the Marhaura block in Chapra. We are a very local operation, rooted deeply in the rural parts of Bihar. We don't have a corporate office in a city. Our work happens right here among the fields and the local houses. It’s a simple way of living and a simple way of working. Most of our meetings happen in the front room of the house or out in the yard if the weather is nice. We don't bother with fancy slogans or promotional talk. That’s just not how we do things in Sihoria. People know us by our names and they know where to find us if they need anything. Being in the Marhaura block means we are quite far from the big urban centers, and we like that just fine. We handle all our own records and tasks without any outside help. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes to keep everything organized, but we do our best. We are just a group of people from the village trying to manage this foundation in an honest, straightforward way. It’s not always perfect, and we make mistakes, but we are always here, working from the same spot in Tola-Sihoria every day.
