Saran Development Nidhi Limited is run out of Gadh, right by the Devi Chowk in Marhaura. You can find us right in front of the SBI block, which makes it pretty easy for people to find the location. The office is at Amar Kumar Sah’s place. It’s a central spot in Saran, so there is always something going on outside. We have a lot of foot traffic from people going to the bank or the market. The office itself is nothing special, just a room with some basic furniture where we can sit down and go through the books. We focus on the local people here, helping them save a little bit of their earnings. It’s a small operation, just a few of us handling the paperwork and talking to the members. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, mostly just pen and paper and a basic computer for the records. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. Marhaura is the kind of place where your reputation matters more than how shiny your office is.
