Ravi Rice Mill

The mill is located in Maharajganj, right in the Siwan area. You can find us if you are heading towards Vishnu Dham, it is a well-known spot around here. Most people use it as a landmark when giving directions to their friends. Running a rice mill like ours involves a lot of noise and dust, especially when we are busy during the harvest months. There are days when the yard is full of sacks and farmers are waiting around talking. It is a lot of hard work. We have been in Siwan for a while and have seen the town change quite a bit over the seasons. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing things. It isn't a glamorous job but it is what we do. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the main shed where the hullers are and a small space to sit. The weather really dictates how much work we get done in a week. If it rains, everything slows down. We keep our gates open early and stay until the sun goes down most days. People stop by to chat or check on their orders. It is just a local business trying to stay busy. We don't spend money on big signs or ads. Word of mouth is how most people find Ravi Rice Mill. We are just here doing our job and making sure things stay on track for the folks who rely on us. It is a long day every day.
