Kisanshakti Nidhi Limited is tucked away in Atrauliya Tola, in the Bhatahat area. We are located at Pavan’s place, which is well known by everyone around here. It’s a very quiet spot compared to the main towns. Most of our days are spent talking to the farmers from Usarhawa. That’s why we picked this name in the first place. We handle the small savings and credits for the people living in these parts. The office is just a room with a couple of benches for people to sit while they wait. We have a big window that lets in the breeze, which is nice in the summer. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. Most people find out about us by talking to their cousins or neighbors at the market. We keep everything very basic. When a member comes in, we offer them a seat and maybe some water. We talk about the crops and the weather before we get to the money part. It’s the way things have always been done in Bhatahat. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help the folks around here keep their money safe. Sometimes we have to close early if there’s a local festival or a village meeting. It’s a real local business run by people who live right here and know the struggle of the farming life.
