Jeewanyadav Jansewa Foundation

Our office is at DS-2 in Srinagar, right near the SBI Bank in Siwan. It is a good spot for us because almost everyone knows where the bank is located. We have been running the Jeewanyadav Jansewa Foundation from here for a bit now. Siwan is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else, so we don't really need much in the way of big signs or advertisements. Most people just know to come by if they need something. The office itself isn't very big, but it is enough for the few of us who work here every day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just chatting with folks who walk in off the street. Since we are so close to the bank, there is always a lot of activity right outside the door. We try to keep things simple and practical. We don't have big budgets or fancy presentations to show people. It is mostly just writing things down and trying to help out where we can. Being in Bihar, you learn how to deal with whatever comes your way. We handle the paperwork and the local meetings as they happen. It is a humble setup, but it works for what we are trying to do here. We like being in Srinagar because it is central. Most days, we are just here from morning until the evening doing basic work.
