Our small setup is located out in Village Mirzapur, which is in the Saran district of Bihar. It is a rural area, so things tend to move a bit slower out here than they do in the big cities like Patna. We have our office right here in the heart of the village, not too far from the local post office. The Pin code for us is 841419. Most of our days are spent dealing with local infrastructure and various projects that are happening in the surrounding countryside. It is a very practical and down-to-earth environment. We don't have any of that fancy office furniture or air conditioning that actually works when it gets really hot. It is just a simple place where we sit down to figure out the logistics of our construction work and manage the workers. Most of our staff comes from the nearby villages, so everyone pretty much knows each other’s families. It feels like a small community operation even though we are technically part of a much larger company. There is usually a lot of dust around because of the unpaved roads and the nature of the work we do, so the office is never what you would call perfectly clean. We don't mind it much though. We are much more worried about getting the bricks and cement delivered on time and making sure the projects get finished. Being in Saran means we have to deal with the local weather and the rainy seasons, which can slow things down, but we keep going.
