Freeflygirl Private Limited

Freeflygirl is our company and we are based in Hathua. To find us, you have to go to the village of Kusauni-Kusaudhi or Panchkusaundhi as some call it. We are located at the house of Shambhu Nath Rai. It’s a private limited company, which sounds very official, but we are just a small group working out of a village setting. We focused on the name Freeflygirl because it felt right for what we wanted to do with women’s clothing. Being in a place like Hathua means we are far away from the big city noise. We do our work here in the quiet. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks. Shambhu Nath Rai is a well-known name in the village, so people can easily point you to our door. We don't have any big billboards or advertisements on the radio. Our focus is on the clothes we produce. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and making sure things are put together correctly. It’s a lot of manual work. The village environment is nice, but it has its challenges like transport and electricity. We just work around those things. We are not some huge corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a local team trying to build something from the ground up. Every day is different here. We might be packing boxes one day and talking to suppliers the next. It’s just life in Kusauni and we keep at it.
