Era Infra Engineering Limited operates out of a place in Sonouli, which is a village in the Masrakh area of Saran, Bihar. Our contact there is Kamran Khan. It’s a rural setting, which is quite different from our other city offices. Being out here means we’re closer to some of the actual ground-level projects we handle. The office is a simple structure, nothing like the glass buildings you see in Patna or Delhi. We deal with the local weather and the occasional power issues, but we have our ways of managing. The pace here is a bit different, but the work is just as demanding. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the head office and making sure the local site workers have what they need. It’s a lot of logbooks, phone calls, and dusty boots. There’s a sense of practicality here that you don’t find in the city. We don’t have fancy meeting rooms, so we usually just talk over a desk or outside in the shade. The staff is mostly local, so they know the terrain and the challenges of working in this part of Bihar. It’s an honest setup where we focus on the engineering tasks at hand. There’s always something to be fixed or a plan to be reviewed. We keep our heads down and work through the list of things to do, day in and day out, without making any grand claims. It is just how we do things in Sonouli.
