Cempa Cola

You can find us at Cempa Cola in Village Bairiya. We are near the Primary School here, so we hear the kids playing and shouting most of the morning. The post office is in Kateya and we are part of the Gopalganj district. It’s a very local feel here. We handle the cola and other drinks, mostly just moving them from the trucks into our storage space. Being near the school means there is always some life around the place. Gopalganj is where we are, and we’ve been at this village site for a long time. The building is just a basic structure that keeps the sun off the products. We don’t have any big corporate offices. It’s mostly just us and the crates. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, but we try to keep the bottles clean. The tehsil office isn’t too far away either. It’s a simple routine of waking up, checking the stock, and seeing what needs doing. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just work. People stop by on their way to the post office or the school. We have a small bench outside where we sit sometimes when it’s not too hot. It’s a good spot in Bairiya and we just keep things running. It’s a lot of heavy lifting but we are used to it.
