Cakes Of Paradies Baker Private Limited is a bit of a long name for our small setup in Bhel, which is part of Parsa in the Saran district. You can find us at Kaushal Kishor Singh’s place. We started this because there weren't many places nearby where you could get a decent cake for a birthday or a small party. Baking in a place like this is interesting because you have to be careful with the power cuts and the humidity. It’s not like those big city bakeries you see on TV. We have our ovens and our workspace, and we just do our best with what we have. Sometimes the flour delivery is late, or we run out of sugar, and we have to go down to the local market to grab what we need. It’s a very local way of doing things. My brother helps me with the deliveries, and we usually just use a motorbike to get the boxes to the customers. People in the village know they can just drop by if they need something. We don't really do much advertising. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors. It's a simple life here in the 841402 area. We just like making things that make people smile for a bit. It’s a lot of cleaning up flour and washing trays at the end of the night, but it is worth it for us.
