Our clothing business is over in Digha, specifically in the Ramjee Chak area. We are located in Gandhi Gali, at Baby Devi’s place. It’s a narrow lane, but everyone around here knows it. We handle all sorts of clothing items. The space we have is quite modest. It’s just a couple of rooms filled with fabric and finished clothes. We don't have a polished showroom with lights and mirrors. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we get the actual work done. There are usually three or four of us working at any given time. We don’t have a boss who sits in a big office. We all just work together on the floor or at the tables. Digha is a busy part of the city, so it can get a bit hectic outside. But once you step into the alley, it’s a bit quieter. We don't have a website or do any online selling. We just deal with people directly. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to move the stock, but we’ve learned how to deal with that over the years. We aren't trying to be a big brand. We just want to provide decent clothing at a fair price to whoever needs it. It’s a very straightforward and honest business. We don't use any fancy talk or marketing. We just focus on the clothes and the daily tasks that need to be finished.
