This place is right on Kandra Road in Adityapur, very close to Rit Mor. It’s a dusty stretch of road with a lot of heavy trucks passing through all day long. We handle a lot of Pepsi products here, so you’ll see the blue crates stacked up high in every corner. The yard is usually quite busy with drivers coming in to get their loads for the day. It’s not a quiet job by any means. There’s always the sound of a forklift somewhere or someone shouting instructions over the engine noise. We’ve got a small office at the front, but most of the action happens in the warehouse. It’s a big, open space that gets quite cold in the winter and really stuffy in the summer. We just get on with it, though. The crew here is good; we’ve worked together for a long time. We know the routines and who is supposed to be where. Sometimes things get backed up at the gate and it can be a bit of a headache, but we sort it out eventually. Being near Rit Mor makes it easy for the transporters to find us, which is the main thing. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a beverage distribution point where we work hard and go home tired. It’s what we know and we’ve been doing it for years now without much fuss.
