Working at Plot No. 220 in the Peenya Industrial Area means dealing with the 8th Main traffic every single day. 3rd Phase is a crowded part of Bangalore, and Venkat Pharma is tucked right into the middle of it. Our building is a bit plain, but it’s kept clean inside because of the nature of the work we handle. We deal with various pharmaceutical supplies and equipment. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people relaxing much. Everyone is usually in a bit of a hurry, checking lists or moving containers. The air inside has that slightly sharp, clean smell you expect from a place like this. We have a small area for the staff to take their breaks, but usually, people just grab a quick tea and get back to their stations. The machines have their own hum that fills the rooms throughout the day. Sometimes when the power fluctuates, which happens around here, everything goes quiet for a second and then kicks back in. We don't have any marketing people or big sales teams sitting around. Most of us are either in the production area or handling the logistics of getting orders out to the local hospitals and clinics. It’s a bit of a grind, especially during the monsoon when the roads in Peenya get messy. But we show up, do the counts, pack the boxes, and make sure the labels are straight. It’s a steady rhythm that defines our daily lives.
