We work out of Plot No. 33 in the Gokulpeth area. The business is called Veena Mineral Sales Corporation. It’s a straightforward name for a straightforward business. We deal with minerals all day long. This means a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty. Gokulpeth is a crowded part of town, so there is always a lot of activity right outside our door. We have been at Plot No. 33 for many years now. The office is small and filled with samples of different rocks and minerals. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or expensive furniture. We just have what we need to get the job done. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it is so quiet you can hear the clock on the wall. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just talk to the people who come in and try to help them find what they are looking for. It is hard work, especially when we have to move big shipments in the middle of the summer heat. We don't complain much, we just get on with it. We are just a group of regular people working in a local business. We don't try to sound corporate because we aren't. We just like the work and the people we meet in Gokulpeth. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
