Vee Kay Engineers

Working out of Aggarwal Plaza in Netaji Subash Place means there is always something going on outside. Pitampura is a crowded area, and the plaza itself is usually buzzing with people going to different offices. Vee Kay Engineers is up on the 317th spot. It’s not a very large office, but we have enough room for our computers and the technical manuals we keep on the shelves. We’re engineers, so we spend a lot of time looking at numbers and technical specs. It’s not the kind of work that sounds exciting to everyone, but it’s what we know. Most days involve a lot of coffee and quiet work at our desks. Sometimes we have to go out to sites, but a lot of the planning happens right here. The office gets a bit stuffy in the summer, even with the AC on. We aren't much for fancy presentations or marketing talk. If you come by, you’ll probably see us arguing over a drawing or trying to fix a printer. We have a lot of files piled up, some of them from years ago. It’s a functional space. We know the guards downstairs and the guy who sells snacks in the lobby. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get the engineering right without overcomplicating things. We’ve been in this building for a while, and it feels like a second home to most of us.
