Quasimi Collections

Quasimi Collections is located in Naya Bazar, Bhadohi. This is in the Sant Ravidas Nagar district. If you know Bhadohi, you know it’s a place where things are made. Our office is right in the middle of the market area. It’s a busy, dusty place, but we like it here. We don’t have a polished showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have a workspace where we actually get things done. Most of our time is spent looking at samples and checking quality. We deal with a lot of local makers and weavers. The building itself is pretty old, and the stairs are a bit steep. We’ve got desks piled with papers and stacks of samples in the corners. Quasimi Collections is just a few of us. We start early in the morning before the market gets too crowded. We don’t use fancy words to describe what we do. We just pick out the best stuff we can find and handle the logistics of getting it where it needs to go. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, or the transport is late, but we manage. It’s a very practical life here in Naya Bazar. We don’t need much more than a good cup of tea and a clear list of what needs to be shipped. We’ve been here long enough that the routine feels natural. We just take things as they come and do the work.
