Hamidullah & Sons

Over on Peerkhanpur Road, you’ll find the workplace of Hamidullah & Sons. It’s been a family thing for a long time. We’ve had the same PO Box, number 73, since my father’s time. The building is old, with thick walls that keep it a bit cooler in the summer heat. Inside, it’s mostly stacks of materials and the sound of people working. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It’s just family and a few workers who have been with us so long they might as well be family. We don't use a lot of fancy technology. Most of the work is still done by hand or with simple tools. It takes longer that way, but it’s how we’ve always done it. Sometimes the kids are running around the yard while we’re trying to load a shipment. It can be a bit chaotic, but we like it that way. We don't bother with polished speeches or marketing tricks. We just show people what we’ve made. If they like it, they buy it. We spend our days checking the quality and making sure the orders are right. It’s a slow and steady kind of life. We’re proud of the name on the door and just want to keep the business going for the next generation. It’s about sticking together and doing what you know is right, day after day.
