Amardeep Hospital

This hospital is located out on Aurai Road, specifically in the Bankat Sarroi area. It’s a spot that’s quite easy to miss if you aren't looking closely for the sign on the gate. We’ve been operating here for many years now. The building is very functional and doesn't have any extra decorations. It’s got different wards and a small area for people to sit while they wait for news about their relatives. I spend most of my day walking between the different rooms and checking the supplies. The floors are that hard tile that makes a clicking sound when you walk in heavy shoes. We get patients from all the surrounding villages and the nearby parts of the town. Aurai Road can get quite busy with big trucks and buses passing by at all hours. Sometimes the noise travels right inside, but we’ve all grown used to it over the years. Life here is mostly about the daily routine of checking on people and keeping records updated. We have a small canteen nearby where we usually grab our tea during breaks. The doctors are around most of the time, and the nurses are usually very busy with their charts. We don't have those fancy automatic sliding doors or anything like that. It's just a regular, honest hospital doing what it can for the people who live nearby. Many folks come here because we are close to where they live. We know the local shopkeepers around Bankat Sarroi pretty well by now. It’s a tight community in this part of the world. We just keep the doors open and do the work that comes our way every morning.
