We’ve been at F-51 in the Khalilabad Industrial Area for a while now. It’s right near the Jal Nigam office, which is how most people find us when they’re coming by for the first time. The area is usually pretty dusty because of all the construction and the big trucks passing through, but you get used to it after a few months. Scolex Power & Clean Energy is just a small group of us working out of this space. It’s nothing like those big offices you see in the movies with glass walls and fancy coffee machines. We have a couple of desks, a lot of paperwork, and usually some equipment sitting around waiting to be moved. The power goes out occasionally, which is a bit funny given the name of the company, but that’s just life in this part of town. Most mornings start with someone making tea and checking the schedule to see what needs to get done. We don't really have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door, so if you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us hunched over a laptop or talking on the phone. It’s a practical setup. We spend a lot of time out on sites too, so the office is sometimes a bit empty in the afternoons. It gets quite warm in the summers here, so we keep the fans going all day long. It’s just a normal workplace where we try to keep things organized.
