Saransh Building Material

Saransh Building Material is tucked away in Harpur Village, which is part of Mahuli. We are pretty close to the Vivekanand School, so we hear the kids playing and the bells ringing all day long. It’s a nice sound to work to, actually. Our yard is usually full of gravel, sand, and stacks of bricks waiting to be hauled off. Most of our customers are from right here in the village or the nearby parts of Mahuli. They come in on their motorbikes or with small carts to pick up what they need for the day. We don't use a lot of fancy technology here. It’s mostly just us, a couple of notebooks for keeping track of sales, and a lot of heavy lifting. The ground is always a bit uneven and dusty, so you have to watch your step. When the school lets out, the road gets a bit crowded, so we try to get our big deliveries done earlier in the morning. We’ve been operating this way for a while now, just providing the basic stuff people need to build. We don't have a big corporate office or a sales team. If you come by, you’ll probably find us wearing work clothes and covered in a bit of dust. It’s an honest way to make a living and we like being part of the life in Harpur.
