Sur Rehbar Foundation

Sur Rehbar Foundation is right here on Sangrur Road. We are based out of the space at Mohd Shafique Khan’s place in Sangrur Kanchian. It is not a very big setup, just a simple spot where we handle our daily work. People from the neighborhood know where we are because it is easy to find on the main road. We’ve been around for a bit now, just trying to do our part in the local community. It gets quite busy outside with all the traffic heading towards the main city, but inside we keep things quiet and organized. Most days involve a lot of paperwork and talking to folks who drop by to ask questions. There is no fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs and a desk where we sit and figure things out. Sangrur Kanchian is a place where everyone knows everyone, so news travels fast. If someone needs us, they usually just walk in or call someone who knows us. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who care about the work. The weather gets really hot here in the summer, so the fan is always running. We like being part of this area. It feels like home because most of us grew up not too far from here. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day. It’s a plain way of working, but it works for us.
