Veblen Import Venture

Our place is located right behind the Punjab and Sind Bank on City Road here in Sunam. It's not the easiest spot to find if you're not looking for it, but we've been here long enough that most locals know the way. Veblen Import Venture started out small and we’ve mostly kept it that way over the years. We spend our days dealing with imports, which means a lot of waiting on shipments and making phone calls to different ports. The office is tucked away in the back, so it stays relatively quiet compared to all the noise on the main road. We have a small team, and we all know our roles pretty well without having to be told. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, especially when things get stuck at customs, but we manage to get through it eventually. We’ve got a couple of old fans that hum all day while we work at our desks. There’s always someone coming in with a delivery or asking about a specific part we brought in. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby with a receptionist. It’s just a practical space where we can get our work done without too much fuss. Sunam is a decent place to be based, even if the traffic on City Road gets a bit much in the afternoons. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the goods where they need to go. It’s a simple living.
