We are Shivam Petro Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. and you can find us in the Dilip Waliya building. We’re situated right near DPS School, which makes it easy to give directions to people. Dealing with petrochemicals isn't everyone's idea of fun, but it’s what we know. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well. We aren’t a huge corporation with thousands of employees. It’s a smaller private setup where we all wear a few different hats. One minute I might be talking to a supplier and the next I’m helping load a truck. The area near the school gets pretty jammed with cars in the afternoon, so we try to get our big deliveries out of the way early in the morning. We don’t have a vision statement or anything like that. We just want to sell good products and not have any accidents. Safety is just a thing we do every day without talking about it too much. It’s practical work. We’ve got a lot of drums and tanks around, and we keep them all in order. People know us in the area as the guys who just get on with it. We don't spend money on big ads because word of mouth usually does the trick for us. It’s been a good run so far in this building. We take our time to make sure the chemicals are handled properly every single day.
