Our shop is number 124 on the Main Road in Khanouri Moonak, Sangrur. It’s a straightforward location right where the action is. Being on the main road means we see everyone passing by. R&Y is a small business consultancy. We aren't some big firm from a metro city. We are local people who understand how things work around here. The office is basically just one room with some tables and a couple of computers. It can get a bit dusty because of the road, but we keep it as tidy as we can. We don't have any slogans or anything like that. We just sit down with whoever comes in and look at their paperwork. Sangrur is a place where people know each other, so we try to keep a good reputation by just being honest. We don't promise anything we can't do. Most of our day is spent filling out forms or talking on the phone to government offices. It’s not very exciting, but it’s important work for the people we help. We’ve been here for a bit, and we plan to stay. There is always tea available if a friend drops by. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, even when we have a lot to do. We just take it one day at a time here at the shop. The shutters go down in the evening and we head home to our families.
