Punjab Traders

Punjab Traders has been sitting here in Friends Colony for quite some time. We are right in that lane by Mayur Hotel, just across from Kaula Park. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a bit of a headache near the Bank of India. We mostly deal with local supplies and keep things moving. The shop is usually a bit dusty because of all the stock coming in and out. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you need something, you usually have to wait a minute while we find it in the back. We open early in the morning before it gets too hot. People stop by on their way to the park or after finishing up at the bank. It's a simple way of living. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. The floor is concrete and the shelves are wooden. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery truck to show up. It's just a regular trading business. We’ve known most of the people on this street for years. We talk about the weather and the local news while we work. It’s not a fast-paced life, but it suits us well enough. We keep our books manually mostly. It’s just easier for us to track that way without fussing with computers all day long. We’ve been here long enough to see the park trees grow tall.
