We've been at this spot on Naudhrani Road for a while now. If you know the area near the railway crossing, you know it gets pretty busy and loud with the trains passing by all day. That's just how it is here. Metallic Alloys Pvt. Ltd. isn't a fancy place with a big lobby or anything. It’s mostly just us working with metals and alloys in the back. There is always a lot of dust and the smell of hot metal in the air. We spend most of our time dealing with batches and making sure the trucks can get in and out without getting stuck when the crossing gates are down. It can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially during peak hours. The building isn't much to look at, just some bricks and some metal roofing that rattles when the wind picks up. We started small and just kept going. Most days involve a lot of heavy lifting and checking lists. We don't really do much in the way of big meetings. We just get the work done and head home. The neighbors know us as the guys who are always moving crates around. It’s a practical sort of life. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. That is just part of being in this part of town. We keep things simple because that’s what works for us.
