Jcr Educareer Private Limited is a small setup we have going in Village Kapial, near Bhawanigarh. We’re located at Karnail Singh’s place. It’s a very local thing. We started this because moving from a village to a big city for education or a career is really hard, and we wanted to give people some help right here at home. We don't have a big glass building. It’s just a regular spot in the village where we talk to young people about what they want to do with their lives. Sometimes we help with forms, other times we just chat about different jobs that are out there. Bhawanigarh is a nice area but it can feel a bit far from the big opportunities sometimes. We try to bring a bit of that knowledge here. It’s not a formal corporate office. People stop by on their tractors or walk over after work. We know everyone in Kapial, so it’s more like helping out neighbors than running a big business. We keep our notes in simple ledgers and use an old computer when the power stays on long enough. It’s a bit slow-paced, but that’s how we like it. We aren't trying to be the biggest career consultants in Punjab. We just want to make sure the kids from our village have a fair shot at finding a good path. It's just us doing what we can for our own people in this little corner of the world.
