Goel Varun Architect

Varun and I spend most of our days here in Ahmedgarh. We’re right at H.No.87, Ward No.13. If you look across the street, you’ll see the Punjab and Sind Bank. It’s a handy landmark for anyone trying to find us. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get our drawings done and keep our files organized. Most mornings start with a quick cleanup of the desk before the phone starts ringing. We handle a lot of local stuff around here. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now. People from the ward drop by just to ask things or show us their plots. We mostly deal with blueprints and structural plans. It’s a lot of sitting at the computer or leaning over a drafting table. There’s always tea coming in from the stall down the road. It keeps us going during those long afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We don’t have a big corporate setup, just a few chairs and plenty of paper everywhere. It’s just how we work. We know the neighbors and the local shops well. Dealing with the building codes and the paperwork for the municipality takes up a good chunk of our time. It’s honest work and we stay busy with the local projects that come our way through word of mouth.
