CHAMAN NIDHI LIMITED

We’ve been at house number 272/254 in Kora Devi Colony for a while now. Most people know the spot because it's right by Sukhi Nadi and not far from Sangrur Bhawan here in Kharkhari. We aren't some big bank in a skyscraper. Chaman Nidhi Limited is just us working from this neighborhood spot. If you walk down the street near the water, you’ll find us easily enough. Sometimes the area gets busy, but it’s home. We deal with the usual Nidhi company things, keeping track of savings and such for people around here. It's nothing fancy, just a desk and some ledgers and a lot of talking to the neighbors. People come by when they have a bit extra to put away or when they need to figure out their finances. We try to keep things simple. No one here wears a three-piece suit. It’s more about knowing who you’re talking to. The address is a bit long to write out, but once you’re in Kharkhari, just ask for the house near Sangrur Bhawan. We’ve seen the colony change over the years, but our little office stays pretty much the same. We handle the paperwork and make sure everyone's accounts are straight. It's honest work and it keeps us busy through the day. Sometimes the tea runs out before the work does, but that’s how it goes in a small office. We like being part of the local scene here in Punjab.
