Ahuja Video Mixing

We are tucked away in Adarsh Mohalla on Phirni Road, not too far from the Nabha Gate. Ahuja Video Mixing has been operating from this little spot for years. Our workspace is filled with computers, monitors, and stacks of hard drives. It’s usually a bit dim inside so we can see the colors on the screens better while we work on the video edits. Most of what we do involves taking raw footage from local weddings or family events and putting it all together. Phirni Road can be quite lively, especially during the festival season, and we often hear the noise from the street while we are sitting at our desks. We don't have a big storefront or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live in the Mohalla and know our family. We spend a lot of hours sitting down, focusing on the cuts and the transitions in the videos. Sometimes a client will come in and sit with us to show exactly what they want. It’s not a fast process, and our eyes get tired by the end of the night. We keep some tea and snacks around because we are often here late finishing up a project for a deadline. It’s a quiet life of editing and mixing, right here near the old Nabha Gate. We just take it one video at a time and try to get the details right. It's a lot of sitting, but we enjoy the work.
