Sri Ran Clinic

Our clinic is right on the Man Bajar Road in Nahar Garh, which is part of the Kishan Ganj area in Baran district. It is a very busy street, especially on market days when there are carts and people everywhere. The dust from the road often finds its way inside, so we are always dusting off the table and the chairs. It is a small space, just enough for a waiting area and a private room for the doctor. We have a wooden bench for patients to sit on, and it can get quite cramped when more than three people are waiting. The sound of the market is always there in the background—people shouting, horns honking, and the general noise of trade. We see a lot of people who are just passing through the bazaar and decide to stop in because something has been bothering them. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but we have a good lamp on the desk. We keep our medicines in a glass cabinet that rattles whenever a heavy truck goes past. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We drink a lot of water because of the heat in Baran. Most of the people who come here are farmers or laborers from the surrounding countryside. We know many of them by their first names now. It is just a small clinic trying to do its part in a busy market town.
