We set up Ujwal Fire Safety Services right here on 100 Feet Road. It’s a small shop in Prafulla Plaza, pretty easy to find if you know where Diamond Resto Bar is. People usually come in when they realize their old extinguishers are past the date or they need a few new ones for a shop or an apartment block. We spend a lot of time checking valves and making sure the pressure is right on the canisters. Fire safety isn't something most folks think about until there is a problem, but we stay busy enough. Sometimes the weather gets really hot here in Vishrambag and that gets people worried about sparks or old wiring. We just help them get the right gear in place. It is mostly me and a couple of others handling the refills and the deliveries. We don't have a fancy office, just the shop with tools and equipment stacked up. If you walk past the plaza, you will probably see us moving heavy tanks around or testing some alarms. We have been in this spot for a while now. It’s a decent area with plenty of traffic. We try to keep things simple. If a customer needs a smoke detector or a hose, we just show them what works and what doesn't. There's no big talk here. Just the day-to-day work of keeping things safe. It's a living and we know the neighbors around here well.
