Vijay Traders

Our business, Vijay Traders, is located in Village Mangle within the Shirala taluka. It’s a small place in a quiet village. We don't have the rush of the city here, which is something we actually appreciate. Our building is right there in the middle of the village. It is a simple trading post where we handle various goods. You won’t find any neon signs or high-tech displays here. The floor is often a bit dusty because of the tractors and cows that pass by outside on the dirt roads. We don't even have a computer in the front; we mostly use paper and pens. Most of our customers are folks we have known since we were kids. It’s a very local way of doing business. We spend the morning moving bags and checking what came in on the last truck. The afternoons can be slow when the sun is high, so we usually just sit in the shade of the doorway and chat. We don't have any big growth plans or corporate strategies. We just want to provide what the village needs and keep the shop running for another year. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. The roof leaks a tiny bit when there is a heavy storm, but we just put a bucket under it. It’s just a normal part of life in Mangle.
