Down here in Sangli, Venkatesh Wara Construction has its roots in Vasantnagar. It’s a local operation, and we’ve been part of the community in Maharashtra for a long time. The office is pretty basic. We have a few chairs for visitors and a big table where we spread out the plans. Construction in a place like Sangli is all about who you know and doing the work right so people talk. We've got our routine, starting early and finishing when the light fades. The office phone rings a lot with people asking about progress or checking prices. We try to be honest about how long things take. Sometimes there are delays, that’s just construction for you. We just keep plugging away at the jobs we have. Vasantnagar is a good place to be based, it's quiet enough that we can actually get some planning done without too much noise from the main road. It works for us and the guys on the crew.
