Vashisti Detergents Ltd.

Down in Lote Parshuram, specifically at Plot B-7 in the MIDC area, you’ll find Vashisti Detergents Ltd. We are out here in the Khed Taluka near Chiplun. It is an industrial life for us, surrounded by other factories and the sound of machines. Making detergents is what we know. We have been at this plot for a long time, and the local people from the village and surrounding areas make up most of our crew. It gets very green and rainy during the monsoon, which is a nice change from the usual heat of the factory floor. Our address is a bit long with the Post Box 6 and all that, but it’s easy to find once you are in the MIDC zone. We aren't a corporate giant with glass walls; we are more about the mixing tanks and the packaging lines. There is always a faint smell of soap in the air around the office. We just try to keep the production moving so we can get the crates loaded onto the trucks. Some days the machines break down and we have to get our hands dirty fixing them, but that is just part of the deal. We don’t make big promises about being the best; we just show up at Plot B-7 and do the work we’ve been doing for years. It is a simple, hardworking life in Chiplun, and we take some pride in what we produce.
