Our office is located at Paga Galli in Tasgaon, right within the premises of Deepak Arjundas Bateja’s place. If you know the Sangli district, you know Tasgaon is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else. Varadlaxmi Credit Nidhi Limited has been set up here to help the people in our local community with their small savings and bits of money needs. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big front desk or fancy uniforms. Usually, someone is sitting at the main table ready to talk. The street outside can get a bit noisy during market days, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the ceiling fan and papers moving around. We handle the deposits and the small loans that folks around here require for their daily business or personal reasons. Being in Paga Galli makes it convenient for the shopkeepers and the residents to just walk in when they have ten minutes to spare. We try to keep the paperwork as straightforward as we can because nobody likes filling out twenty different forms for one thing. We’ve seen the town change a little bit over the years, but the way we do things stays pretty much the same. It’s about trust and being there when someone needs a hand with their finances.
