Troubleshooting Social Welfare Foundation

Troubleshooting Social Welfare Foundation is located on 100 Feet Road in Sangli. We are based out of the Hotel Star building in Pragati Colony, specifically c/o George Simon Pinto. The name we chose sounds a bit technical, but really we just try to fix local problems that people can't solve on their own. People come to our door when they hit a wall with something. Maybe it’s a legal paper they don’t understand or some family trouble that has gotten a bit out of hand. We don’t claim to have all the answers for everyone. Often, we just sit and listen for a long time and then try to figure out a small way to move forward. It’s a busy spot near the main road, so there is always someone dropping in to say hello or ask a question. Our office isn't very big, and it’s usually full of stacked papers and half-empty tea cups from the morning. We don’t have a formal schedule most of the time. If the door is open, it means we are in and working. Sangli-416416 is our home, and we know these streets and the people living here very well. It’s not about being a big boss or having a fancy title on a business card. It’s just about being there when someone is at their wit's end. We take things as they come, one person at a time. It's tough work but it feels right.
