Sagar Seeds

Sagar Seeds is out in Kundal, in the Palus tehsil. Being in a place like this means our life follows the seasons. When it’s time to plant, we are incredibly busy from dawn until way past dark. Farmers come in from all over the village and the surrounding areas to get what they need for their fields. The shop smells like earth and dried seeds most of the time. It is a very practical place. We don’t have fancy displays or soft chairs for people to sit in. There are usually just bags piled up and a wooden counter where we do all the talking. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. We’ve lived here for a long time, so we understand the weather and how it affects everyone’s work. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and those are the quiet, worried days. Other times, everyone is in a good mood because the crops are looking tall. It is hard work, moving heavy sacks around and keeping track of everything, but it is what we do. If you are looking for us, we are right there in V P- Kundal. It’s easy to find once you get into the main part of the village. We just keep our heads down and work hard to make sure people get what they need for their farms every year.
